The Government of India had started the dare and controversial exercise to disinvestment from the Public Sector Assets. Under the exercise, the assets were kept on a bid and the enthusiasts bought a few assets. India's value-based corporation Tata Groups had won the bid for Air India.
Balakrishna said that Hindupur is developed in terms of business and income and the resources and facilities Hindupur has make it the better option for the district headquarters. His video message is doing rounds now.
As Hindupur has been the family constituency of the Nandamuri family and he is representing Hindupur now, Balakrishna wants his constituency to be made the district headquarters. Everyone is welcoming the demand placed by the Actor-turned-politician.
Though his demand is acceptable, Balakrishna does not even make a mention of Vijayawada district named after his father late NTR. Everyone wonders why Balakrishna did not say a word on this.
Does Balakrishna don't have the time to speak about Vijayawada district getting named after NTR?. Well, his actions hint at the same. He made a video to speak about Hindupur but not for his father.
It is not just the case of Balakrishna. None of his family members and others who earlier supported Chandrababu Naidu in the Assembly issue did not talk about this and they didn't even bother thanking the Chief Minister for honouring NTR.
